In this special workshop, Bizz will share the secret behind her signature blend of yoga, pilates and little bit of dance as she uncovers the principles of a balanced full-body workout. You will learn basic functional anatomy, discover how imagery links your mind and body and get in touch with your deep, core stability muscles. Chit Ananda
by Elizabeth Lacey
There is no joy like the joy I felt in those brief moments,
especially the moment I realized it lives in me too.
That it wasn’t about success, status or money,
but the subtle smile my heart wore when it entered my awareness.
I reached out to touch it, and like a snowflake it was gone, wet like my tears.
Like snow accumulating on the earth, I encouraged my breath to settle. Each snowflake unique, like each being that roams the earth. I can’t touch it, own it like I would a car, a house or a sweater, it just is, and in that “isness”, it is somehow perfect.
What if my true nature is like a snowflake? Real, yet untouchable, quiet, bright enough to light up the whole world, pure white, heavy when left unattended? Designed by Mother Nature to know it’s purpose on earth.
What if I don’t need to touch it, see it, understand it, for it to be real? What if I just am it, and in that “isness”, I too am somehow perfect?
There is truth in those moments, a not so subtle smile my heart wore when it entered my awareness. I reached out to touch it and like the breath that breathed my body it was there, riding on the crest of the wave – a snowflake in summer form. Liquid sunshine poured from my eyes as I encouraged my breath to settle.
As the waves washed over me I knew it was true. Like all beings that roam the earth, like the snowflakes that fall from the sky, I am unique, I am goodness, I am joy and in this “isness” I know it lives in me too.
